Hello Tiger Families!

If you haven’t done so already, head over to the Bobcat Page, here, and make sure you have all of the requirements done to earn the Bobcat Badge.

Our first meeting will be Monday, August 22^nd, which is also the first day of school.   We will be meeting at the Cub Scout Cabin at 6:00 pm.

Because we have planned our sign-up night for Cub Scouting on the following Saturday, we won’t be getting into the Tiger requirements until after all the new boys have earned their Bobcat badge.   Therefore, we will spend the first meeting working on the Bobcat requirements, selecting our den number, and working on a den flag, or banner.

As we work on things in the book, we will be filling up the Tiger Totem with beads showing our accomplishments.   As you can see, there are Den beads and Family beads as well as Go See It beads.

For the Go See It field trips, we will schedule these at the beginning of each month to accomplish as a den.

The Tiger tracks are for electives from the back of the book that the boys may do.   Some of them we can do together.   Others you can do at home and then let me know about it so you can get credit.   All this will be explained at the first meeting also.
